Germany

Europe's largest data centre market. The platform holds transmission-connected and zoned greenfield capacity, and partners directly with power producers.

Position

The platform's German facilities sit outside the congested Frankfurt hub, at locations with transmission-level connections and capacity that can be confirmed for 2028. They include a multi-phase campus connecting directly to an existing extra-high-voltage substation and a zoned greenfield campus with its grid connection agreement agreed.

Grid allocation rewards readiness

Since April 2026, Germany's four transmission system operators allocate connections for large consumers through a maturity-based process, scoring site control and permitting, technical maturity, financial and organisational capability, and the benefits of shared connection points. The platform's approach, in which control, permitting and connection design come first, is aligned with how capacity is now allocated.

Efficiency built in

New German data centres must reach a power usage effectiveness of 1.2, reuse a rising share of waste heat and source renewable electricity under the Energy Efficiency Act. Facilities are designed to these requirements from the outset.

Joint ventures with power producers

In Germany the platform already structures projects jointly with power producers, combining their generation or grid capacity with Qore's development, delivery and operation.
