Powered land
Controlled land, zoning in place, grid capacity confirmed in writing, and a master plan ready for data centre use.
Powered land, defined precisely
The platform describes land as powered only when four conditions are met: land control through ownership or binding rights; data centre use permitted under current zoning, or a planning process in its final stage; capacity confirmed in writing by the system operator, with a connection date and ramp; and a master plan, test fit and permitting route that establish what the land can carry and how fast.
Powered land is offered to hyperscale customers with in-house design and construction teams, and forms the basis of every Qore facility.
One team leads every workstream
From the first visit to a project that is ready to build.
Structuring
Sourcing and due diligence: acquisition terms, underwriting business plan, legal, financial and technical due diligence, test fits and feasibility.
Pre-development
Design, permitting and power: design team and engineers, permitting with municipalities and ministries, environmental assessment, HV and MV connection requests and easements.
Development
Construction phase management: tendering, project controls on time and cost, consultant and contractor management, and reporting against brief and budget.
Land and power, brought together
The platform works with landowners, municipalities, utilities and power producers that hold part of the answer, through acquisition with payments staged to power milestones, or through joint ventures.
